What makes you love what you do?

Honestly, I think I am so lucky to have found a career that I enjoy. One of the best parts of my job is meeting my clients. Getting to go from an email, to a coffee date, their engagement session, and finally their wedding day is so incredibly special. Really connecting with people and sharing in their intimate moments and getting to document those moments for them to look back to for the rest of their lives. It is a very powerful and emotional thing for me.

Why should we hire you?

I really stress the importance of finding a photographer that you both have an emotional connection to their work and feel comfortable with. If you feel that with my work, that is awesome! I would love to talk to you.

How would you describe your style?

I view a wedding day as a once in a lifetime event. I want to document as much as I can so my couples are able to relive those moments through the images I create. My style is a mix of documenting details that make your wedding unique, the traditional group photos, capturing those candids that no one could plan for, and of course creating beautiful portraits. I believe all those elements are what make each wedding day so special.

What equipment do you use and do you have a backup?

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark iv and mostly prime lenses. Prime lenses are typically quicker and sharper, allowing me to document moments as fast as they happen. I also carry a Canon 5D Mark iii and sometimes a film camera. Film is beautiful and I am always happy when I get the chance to shoot a roll, but I shoot mostly digital images.

Do you Travel?

Yes, yes, and yes. I LOVE to travel, especially to document a beautiful wedding day. I live in Spokane, Washington but have photographed weddings and portraits across the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Africa... and cannot wait to do it all again!

What do your clients receive after their wedding or portrait session?

After a wedding or portrait session, I will go through all of the photos I captured, choose the best images that represent your wedding or session, and edit those selected images. Once the images are edited they are uploaded to an online gallery for easy and immediate viewing and sharing. A usb with all of the edited, high resolution images, prints, and canvases are either included or available with packages.

How long should we expect before we see our images?

On average, a portrait session will be completed within two to three weeks of the session date. A wedding gallery is normally available six to eight weeks from the wedding date, but is dependent on the time of year.
