Central Oregon Black Tie Wedding

Pronghorn Resort is located outside of Bend, Oregon aka one of my favorite places on Earth. On this particular day in May the weather was a little iffy, but that did not stop Cole and Amber from celebrating with their closest friends and family. I have photographed weddings at Pronghorn Resort before, but this was the first time I had experienced their new Huntington Lodge and it is GORGEOUS. I was so happy we were able to do both their first look and quite a bit of their portraits in the beautifully curated lobby/lounge area. The ceremony was held out on the resort’s island and was filled with laughter and some tears as one of their closest friends married the couple. I consider myself super lucky to get to photograph people’s wedding days, but it is always extra special when they are also personal friends and extra, extra special when my hubby gets to join in and watch me work… takes me back to the day Jason and I first me, at a wedding… where he was a groomsman and I was the photographer and a mutual friend asked me to come hangout with them after the wedding :) ANYWAY, Cole and Amber’s whole day was incredibly beautiful and they had hands down some of the most heartfelt toasts I have witnessed. Thank you for having me document your day and I wish you all the very, very best!
