Sunset Family Session in Redlands, California

Sweet sunset family session at Caroline Park in Redlands, California. It’s one of my favorite places and I have been going to this park since I was a little girl. It’s a natural park, meaning that it is just dirt trails and wild weeds and beautiful flowers in the spring. This session was done last fall and there were no flowers, but the sage brush gives off the most perfect dusty blue green tones and texture. I just really love it in contrast with the golden light and oak trees. But enough about the setting… this family is just the cutest. I have had the pleasure of photographing them multiple times and getting to work with Katie, who is a great photographer herself. So it is no surprise that her family always shows up looking perfectly put together and her kids are just the most adorable. They always make it so easy on me and their kids always teach me something. It’s been a while since we did their session, but I’m pretty sure the kids taught me about bees loving purple flowers or some other bug loving purple flowers and also some facts about dirt. It’s great! I love listening to what kids are interested in and the facts that stick out to them. I find it fascinating! So thank you for the info kids and fun to hangout with!
