Top 5 Wedding Venues in Central Oregon

Getting to a photograph wedding at a new location is always exciting. Variety is the spice of life, as they say, however when I get a wedding inquiry for a venue I have been to and love I get so excited. If you are looking at getting married in Central Oregon here are my top 5 local wedding venues! These are ALL fantastic options and in no particular order, promise.

Brasada Ranch

Brasada Ranch is gorgeous. It’s as simple as that. They are set up for private, intimate events both large and small. I love that everything is so cohesive there. The rustic architecture feels like it fits the landscape and makes for a wonderful backdrop for any celebration. The bridge is a staple in the setting at Brasada Ranch. The trusses are amazing and make for a must have photo spot! The Range and The Barn are great options for a winter wedding or an indoor reception and both offer great outdoor space with fire pits and expansive views. You can’t go wrong with a wedding at Brasada Ranch!

House on Metolius

I will never forget the first time I pulled up to House on Metolius to do a venue walkthrough. I turned my car off and instantly felt calm. The breeze gently blowing through the tall evergreens and looking down at the pasture below with the pristine Metolius River running right though the middle. I honestly wanted to just move into one of the cabins on the expansive property. House on Metolius is PERFECT if you want an outdoor private event with an incredible view as well as diverse settings. Plus, you can stay in the main house, which makes it so convenient for getting ready! Absolutely one of my favorites. I don’t think I could ever get sick of the views and the setting. Not to mention they have been amazing to work with to make the wedding day run smoothly.

Black Butte Ranch

Black Butte Ranch is a beautiful full service resort. You want to do a destination wedding and have all your guests stay/play onsite, they are an awesome option. The outdoor ceremony site is calming as you stand beside the pond/lake underneath large aspen trees with the Cascade Mountains in full view. I have loved my experience photographing at Black Butte Ranch and would love to do it again soon!

Ranch At the Canyon

If you love the drama of Smith Rock State Park, then Ranch At the Canyons is totally for you. With stunning views of the formations and a tuscan villa stable. It lends itself so well to the natural beauty of the surrounding as well as creates this perfect moment for a romantic wedding day. The rust orange paint with the huge arched wooden doors and the round corral beside the large grassy area makes for a great area for a wedding day.

Pronghorn Resort

Pronghorn is straight romance. The Huntington Lodge is a beautiful, more modern take on the rest of the resort, which makes it really easy for guests to stay onsite or for the bridal party to get ready if they don’t have a house on the property. The Event Island allows for that dramatic walking down the aisle moment as the bride walks across the bridge to the island. Then there is the Chanterelle Room has high vaulted beamed ceilings, large windows, and an ultra romantic, intimate feeling even with 100+ guests. Not to mention the grounds, including the lava cave, ghost tree, and overall relaxed feel of the golf course.
